I look at Evenepoel’s spring form differently. He’s going for the classics, he’s not in GT shape. I have the feeling Evenepoel improved this season, at least that was my thought after De Ronde. We’ll see in AGR and LBL.
One day racing isn't one or three week GC. Nobody should be in GT shape

Ok so given the continued acceleration of Pog and the rocket that is Paul Seixas, not to mention the still great Vingegaard who would win every Tour 2010-2023 in his current form, what is Remco’s play now? In light of his RVV I kind of think given this Tour a go then, barring something crazy, go all in on classics + Vueltas and forget the Tour.

Keep talking big and keep underdelivering until the Belgian and cycling media finally catch up

Seixas did something today that neither Tadej nor Jonas could do at 19. And he descended like Pidcock. This kid is an earthquake.
I wouldn't compare Jonas to Tadej either. When Pogacar was winning his first Tour, Vingegaard, being older than him, was a domestique.

Seixas is going to win his first major one week race. Remco, at 26, still doesn't have one. Worrying.

I don't know what will happen in Liège. If Seixas continues this absurd monthly improvement, considering how much he's improved since Algarve, the gap between him and Remco in Lombardy or European Championship will be reversed.

I just meant the two, Pog and Jonas, dominant Tour riders of this and, on certain performances, any generation. And yet at 19 neither could do the performance of Paul yesterday, which was insanely formidabile.
