With the weigh he said he has on the Spring he has inpossible to follow at Redoute an explosive attack by Pogacar or Remo at Liege and surely at Ayuso if he is there and at good shape. But I dont thing that he could say bye for that to win the race, Really difficult, anyway,: he need good company cooperating after la Redoute and the rest riders on the fron going alone with not help.
But of course, to climb la Redoute at no more than 20 second from pogacar, he is able even with his Spring weight, I think so.
For that reason I dont believe he showed past Sunday his level at Redoute.
i think that , maybe just a little, but significant, to beon the break make him wasted more energy than the other riders on the forst Km, not once we have video.
I tried to get videos from the first part of the race and it is imposible. I dont understand why at Roubaix yes and al Liege no. Both are important races. Nor even of cycling fans or things like that. Notr a simple picture...
Sometimes to go there for a rider as Remco, means waste more energy just thinking. But I am convinced at the begining of the split there were attacks and the speed was sometime changing, and no at the peloton. If Verbaecke said that I am more convinced.
Without that he could have try to stoy with Skelmose and try to chase. Not just stay thinking I have noithing to fdo and just climb below his best. Difucult as the level of pulls Seixas was doing, but you never knows, he could have get Seixas after la Roche.
An small thing who changes a little could means at the end a big difference.
