Had one in the 80's. Like so many pro bikes, once the rust got started on the top tube, it never stopped.

They should have spec'd the flat-crown steel fork!

Very nice! I like the gold chain to match the lugs too.

As Benotti said, change the tyre colour. I'd also have silver Athena rather than the carbon though.

On the new Paramount, the stem and bar setup looks like it's for a 'comfort bike'. Also the crank stays are a little too long - making it look like a long-distance touring bike.

It probably rides quite nicely, but the looks don't convey an image of speed or performance.

For advertising photos, they should at least flip the stem and choose an attractive angle for the bars.

I think it's great that Schwinn is returning of sorts to the road bike market. I wish them well. I'm sure they'll tinker a bit and who knows, maybe release some sweet bikes in the future.

The only market for that bike is older folks who fondly recall the Schwinn brand. The person actually buying the bike will LIKE the tower of spacers. It's the same reason the chainstays are long.

Nice to see Schwinn do this. Dimensions look pretty classic, so I think all is good. It is sure to sell for might big bucks, being such a limited run, and I would be jealous seeing it on a ride.

I suspect that you're right. But I would just go for a Waterford.
