and either way, slander is spoken work, libel is written word and generally would need to be malicious, false and defamatory to quantify as libel...

Really it would be down to you to prove that not only was the statement, malicious (easiest one to prove), defamatory, but youd have a harder job proving it was not true...

hence the reason common abuse is not libellous
