A very impressive race today. Victory was of course the biggest thing in the end. But he drove strongly throughout the race. Of course, you're smarter after the race. But it was a great idea to work together with the 3 Visma riders. Even though Benoot tried to outwit him once with a trick. So Visma probably stuck to the plan of going for the sprint to give Wout the win. If he hadn't co-operated, they probably wouldn't have made it to the finish line with four riders. Great tactics. He didn't expect it to turn out like this in the end, but his courageous riding style created the opportunity.
