RUI COSTA.

bettiniphoto_0113469_1_full_600.jpg

"He hasn't shown great talent in high mountains yet, and I see him more as a classics talent, with the ability to pull togther good week long stage races on favourable courses." Catwhoorg

"Great rider, a very versatile one. Will be very interesting to observe his progress further" airstream

TEJAY VAN GARDEREN.

b2d6c65def.jpg

"I think at the moment he is overrated for GT's but he is young and can definitely continue to develop. At the moment he seems like he has potential and he is placing well at most 1 week races, ToC and P-N." greenedge

"Seems like another Levi Leipheimer to me - good performance when slow legs are required, but falls apart when the attacks come into play" orangerider

PIERRE ROLLAND.

"Rolland is awesome, has panache and is aggressive!!!" Parrulo

"His ability to push some huge gears on the climbs is pretty unique and amazing to look at, Luc Leblanc could do that too." webvan

THIBAUT PINOT.

"Pinot's bad luck is that he is with FDJEux, who often overuse talents like that and ruin them" Dekker_Tifosi

"Thibaut Pinot has the potential to become the best climber in the world! That's my opinion at least! He spends more and more time in la danseuse and is in general very fluid on the bike" Jakob747

BAUKE MOLLEMA.

"It's hard to imagine Mollema actually*"winning"*races at the top but he's becoming very consistent so who knows what'll happen if he keeps improving" Hrotha

If that TT is really 16km flat then 10km at 9.5% then the optimum strategy, by a long way, will be a planned bike change.

Are those really expected to be the top guys present as it stands? What a budget field.

no he forgot Rujano

what's the wheather forcast? It will be an infallible indicator for the victor.

Peraud, Poels and of course Kreuziger. I think we'll finally see him in or near top shape this year in stage race.

Is Purito coming?

Purito confirmed at the start of the year that he will start.
For me will be between Purito and Rui Costa for GC.Rolland will do Dauphine. Also Suisse is one of Rujano objective of the year.Kreuziger is always good here.
I think Tejay will not fight for GC.He will save everything for TdF.
Also, apparently Sir Wiggo will be at start.

Will be interesting to see how Tejay does here before the Tour. He's got motivation coming off his Cali win, and he looks thin and in form at the moment. I don't expect him to contend for the win though, perhaps podium or top 5 at best.

Isn't Schleck doing Suisse this year? Could be a good bet for a breakaway win.

Yes Andy is riding the Suisse this year. But honestly I dont expect much from him. Saw his performance at the ToC and baring one stage where he put in some fight nothing much to write about. Dont know whether its a case of simply holding back something or just sheer lack of performance.

Kreuziger, Rolland, Pinaut, Mollema, Schleck, Klöden, Rui Costa, Anton, Purito, Van Garderen, Cunego, Lovkvist, Rujano, Ulisi, Roche, Monfort

Also the likes of Cancellara, Sagan, Moser etc

As a stand alone race I much prefer this to the Dauphine which is now simply a dress rehearsal.

This year although the Dauphine will have the three or four of the top six candidates for the tour (froome, contador, valverde and VDB) the depth of the GC competition is likely better in Suisse
