The tour is over for the next 5 or 6 years at least

No-one will beat Contador.

When you combine his obvious climbing ability to his new found world beating time trialing, then where will anyone gain time on him

Wake me up again in 2016

Depends on his DS.

He should win, but I suspect his imature ego will prevent that.

Running away from Bruyneel, the hog, would be a mistake.

Maybe it is time to bring back time bonuses - maybe that would help ensure close contenders would fight to the finish ( with rival team members fighting to prevent that from happening. Would Contador have given yesterdays win to Frank Sheck or would Andy have tried to win the stage?

You think the 10 seconds or whatever makes a bit of difference to Alberto?

Alberto Contador will be the 2009 TDF winner unless:

1-) Crash
2-) Illness
3-) bonking
4-) popped positive
5-) Lance decides to poison him out of envy & jealousy
6-) Lance hires a crazy fan at the Ventoux climb ready to stab him to death
7-) Iran launches a Nuclear Bomb over Paris
 the Armageddon takes place on July 25th
:)

You forgot another possibility
what if LA bribes the team mechanic to lighten Albertos bike, when they weigh it after the stage and it comes out too light DQ
