You can count the number of people I would expect Anna van der Breggen to beat in a sprint on one hand. She's been in an informal battle for the last few years with Claudia Lichtenberg about who is the worst in a sprint from a group.

Spare a thought for Johansson too, she had everything absolutely perfect for her, given her approximately eight million 2nd and 3rd places in her career, but she was just too spent at the end.

Devastating for Abbott, terrible for Emma J, what a crazy race. Amazing finale.

Impressive sprint by van der Breggen, she clearly surprised Johansson, by the time she noticed she was to far back.

And good to hear van Vleuten is ok. Seems from twitter it's at least not life threatening, hopefully it won't be anything career threatening either.

Really sickening. An amazing advert for the sport, a winner I quite like but still completely sickening.
