LLaneras didn't switch to the road did he?
Wiggins didn't make the road a real FOCUS up until 2008.

Stop your bad comparisons already.

Besides, switches from endurance numbers on track to road have been plentiful and not unique

A switch from track SPRINTER to road has not been done for decades...therefore, it's unique. Certainly when it's a big name in track sprinting doing such a uncommon switch

No, it has more to do with Bos history as multiple track world champion and olympic medal winner

for crying out loud....

I wonder how much attention Llaneras would have got here back in the day. Or 2008 Wiggins, for that matter.

Llaneras rode for ONCE and US Postal. Not sure why not abandoning the track altogether makes Llaneras and Wiggins that different from Bos unless you really want him to be special.

I think we need to change Goodwins law once again. For the road section

Too bad you don't have the class of your avatar name...can't imagine Indurain thinking like that.

Thats cause you are not very good at reading/comprehending stuff, it is Indurain 666, an evil version of Miguelone :D

An even evil Miguelone wouldn't throw a fellow racer to the barriers. ;)

The cult of Gesink will eventually supersede god as the most important entity in the universe.

This is just the beginning.

Rule number 2 for Cn forums.
If a rider is a)dutch or b) rides for rabobank he will be treated on these forums as if he has won 5 tdf titles. THis number becomes 10 if the rider is both dutch and rides for rabo.

A thread worth dragging off topic. Doubly so when being funny.

I'll break it down for you:

Karma: you get (100%) what you give (100%)

He gave= sent Impey into the barriers, guy broke his back, was out for several months, lost a lot of money

He got = high speed crash with a few bruises

He deserves much more than that :p

Everyone who died from cancer got what they deserve right? 100%

He gave= sent Impey into the barriers, guy broke his back, was out for several months, lost a lot of money

Everyone has their own opinion about the crash but regardless of all that, this is cycling. Crash's happen, ALLOT.

If you really believed in karma you would just let everything takes its own coarse and I'm sure it would all get sorted out but you WISH for Theo to not only crash and get hurt but get seriously hurt and have some bones break or more. I don't think you believe in karma, its just an excuse so you can be a terrible person.

He should thank Bos, wouldn't have that fat salary at Radioshack without him taking him down.

if you believed in karma you wouldn't be wishing ill on others, that ill will comes back around.

(TBos was not malicious IMHO in the impey crash, his fault but it was a track guy getting pushed into the barriers and trying to maintain his space, not a desperate attempt to hurt impey at all cost (including a pretty nasty crash for himself))

Have you actually seen the video and used some brains to interpret what you are seeing? This was a very peculiar "accident"

People that think Bos intentionally pulled Impey into the barriers just want a reason to hate Bos or something.

Adding the "something" didn't really save your sentence from being senseless and idiotic :p

Why would we want a reason to hate a champion such as Bos ?

no, i dislike bos as a result of pulling impey into the barriers. to be honest, like a lot of people i had barely heard of him before that incident, although to be fair to daryl, id barely heard of him either. :D

The Hulk would get more wins. He might struggle with his bike handling but he does look where he's going.
What Hrotha is referring to is that actually pulling someone off the bike with your arm while at that speed is physically impossible.
Someone made a video on youtube about that whole incident trying to do the same even at low speeds.
It's not possible.
Then why does it seem that way? Because theo was already falling/off-balance when he the foot of a barrier, and then panicked and grasped the first thing within his reach which was unluckily Impey's back. The force of gravity did the rest.
