It's not the best Tibopino, but he's facing a 90% Quintana, a pooped Dumoulin, a past his prime NIbali, so who knows. He's had bad days after the rest day...all the FDJ riders did. maybe there's something to say about that.

Il Grandissimo Tibopino, cappo di tutti Coppi (like Fausto) will give all he's got.

Wow, very good from pinot!! After a tough beginning of third week, he just looked one step above everyone else. Tom had a hard day because he put a lot of energy in the first climb, maybe tomorrow he will pay his efforts of today and I think pinot can very well win this giro.

He's my favorite at this moment. Only contender to not be completely cooked it seems. Though he has a tendency of choking.

Very good ride today even though he didn't move up in the GC. He seems to having found some legs in the last two days, so perhaps a podium isn't that far fetched after all! Either way, I am enjoying the fact that he attacks, and doesn't suffer in the back of the favorite group

Brave ride for Tibopino. I don't have a TV here, so I have been following the stage thread and the live updates. I'm a nervous wreck right now. And I'm so happy . I'm getting a little greedy deep inside, but the goal is a podium. At the very least, I hope that his fighting spirit will earn him some respect in this forum.

Thibaut is not the new Hinault. But he's a champion, and the kid is a fighter. Keep fighting Tibopino. 19 down, 2 to go. Give it all. And whatever happens happens.

Not sure it's been shared yet but read yesterday that Pinot is scared as hell that there'll be a terror attack on a cycling race. It's why he doesn't like le Tour.

I was talking to a couple of riders a while ago who said pretty much the same. They thought it was just a matter of time before one of the big French or Belgian races was attacked. It would just be such an easy, high profile target, that you can fully understand their concerns.

Even though podium isn't certain, this Giro has been a success! He's had his mediocre days, but the level at Blockhaus and the last few days has shown that he can (somewhat) compete with the best!
