Or News of the World, Daily Mail etc. would do.

Not really, sir. Local echoes can't afford the posh inks and colour print doesn't taste so good on the chips. Those full page pictorials they publish for the illiterate who 'read' those rabid national rags are much harder to digest. 😉

Pork. BBQ pork shoulder cooked slowly over hickory coals.

Wow. A thread called "Thinking about food while riding" with a response by Thoughtforfood. Could this cause a snag in the spacetime continuum? 🙂

Okay, I have no idea what was going on back in 2010.
If I think about food while riding, it's because I like food.
And because I know that when I get the work, I'll get delicious food.
(Well, not instantly. I have to do some stuff first, including setting up the buffet.)

I think it's funny that as I am getting dropped, either going 25+ on flat ground or getting shelled going uphill, I often think of food and drink and think if I had just said no, not eaten another, not had those additional drinks I wouldn't be getting killed like a chubby cycling Santa Clause..

Resurrection thread just after Easter 😉. Thinking about food on the bike reminds me of when I did a cross-U.S. bike tour in my youth. Riding through the endless, flat Iowa corn fields in hot, humid July was so mind-numbing that the minute we left one town I was already thinking about the donuts we could eat in the next town 15 miles away. Then we would leave that 2nd town and I’d be focused on the donuts in the next town, and so on across the state. 🙂
