Forty five is my guess, based on a post from a few months ago.

Yep. And having your brother pay Fuentes, is as suspicious too

Thats the case of the guy that will get the 2010 (and 2013) Tours, if things go one way.

Aint no justice in it. Banning riders who fail drugs test aint about justice, its about doping prevention by setting an example.

One of the reasons why its easier to say let Contador off for his 50pcg, or justify his potential escape anyway.

Andy will never win a Tour, don't worry about it. If Contador gets banned he'll theoretically have won in 2010, but no one would consider him a winner. Certainly not the casual fans who only watch in July(the winner for them is the guy who they saw on the podium in yellow at Paris). He won't win this year and he won't win in 2013. What I saw last year is all I needed to know for Andy's future career.

Pardon me if I dont take your word for 2013. If Contador isnt there I really dont see who could stop Schleck. Any ideas?

Ah, but I thought the exact same this year and he didn't win. He'll never win the Tour, I can just feel it(you don't have to take my word for it, you can believe what you want).

When Anquetil was asked by a journalist if he though Poulidor could win the Tour he replied: "Yes, but only if I am in that Tour. And he'll never beat me."

How does that work? We can't catch every cheat so we will let off the ones we actually manage to catch?

Pretzel logic, ftw.

Just like football ey.

We get the compliments but not the price.
And when we try to play dirty we still don't get the price (also, same goes for cycling as for football -> Thomas Dekker)

Coming from the guy who considers Pereiro the winner of the 2006 tour.

Back on topic,

Im really looking foward to this event also.

Although Im an Aussie and support Cadel, I like Contador also.

Looking foward to another great year of Cycling.

Went to the TDU last night, have always enjoyed watching Andre and look foward to his battles against Cav throughout the year, although want to see Goss and Renshaw do well also.

Cant stand Shrek though, but im not the only one.

And who says Scarponi's going to be 100%? He's going for the Giro, right?

Of course he will be going for the Giro but he is still in good form for M-SR/ T-A as they both have hills where his natural abillities on climbs come through. The Italian races are also important to a team like Lampre.
Also it is a good indicator for the Giro.

Last year he might have even mistimed his run of form for the Giro. He could do the same again.

According to Alain Gallopin,
Chris Horner is set to target the overall at Tirreno and not Paris Nice as Chris himself announced earlier.

Tirreno is harder stage race than Paris Nice so it should fit him perfectly.
Especially if they put a 14km hill finish like rumored.

@theyoungest: Paris Nice this year is about short hills (Mende=3km) and TT.

Let's see if there is a ITT in Tirreno.

Also Paris Nice is freaking cold and often dangerous for a come back race.
