Another day for the sprinters. Does Garmin make it 2 in a row or does HTC come to upset the show?

2km @ 3.9%... can Cav make it over? + Lots of roundabouts to cause trouble for everyone :(

Still annoyed with Petacchi, I'm going to go for Bozic today.

The actual categorized climb is 7.2km @ 3.8%

Yesterday I predicted Cav would win, and he got dropped and didn't compete, so today I am going to predict that he will get dropped and not compete.

6 roundabout and a right curve in the last 200 meters.
You've to risk!
I don't know if all the top sprinters are willing to do so.
Maybe J.J. Haedo or "second choice" may do so.

some attackers will spoil the party, gillbert, iglinsky included.if not...alejet!

Can't see Gilbert attacking today. He will probably just stay in the peloton and save his strength for stage 4.
He simply can't go full throttle in every stage, because his goals lie elsewhere.

I think it's a perfect finish to Robbie McEwen. He can find a right position in such a finish, just imagine: Robbie is coming from nowhere once more :)

Anyone who isn't in the top three going round that last right hander is out of it, positioning is going to be crucial. If Garmin can dominate the lead-out like they did yesterday they will probably get Farrar and Hushovd on the podium.

Interesting news, according to a guy (andre meganck) from Sporza, due to heavy rain, the stage to Macerata (stage 6) will be changed. Some roads can't be ridden, so there will be MORE local laps, the local lap includes the finishing climb, but with an extra lap they would have to do the climb 4 times in total... that's 4 times x a climb with percentages up to 18%

It's still not going to change the result :p
Basso, Scarponi, Evans, and Gesink duking it out? Yeah, I guess that's how it would have been anyway.

BTW: why does stage 5 look like something for Gesink? It seems to be something for a descender like Nibali.

Must I be impressed by Nibali's descending skills or what?

Cause I'm not.

Who ever reaches the top first with a small lead will win the stage.

current situation

in front: Daniel Sesma (Euskatel)

at 6:00
Sebastian Langeveld (Rabobank)
Tyler Farrar (Garmin Cervelo)
Ramuna Navardauskas (Garmin Cervelo)

peloton at 09:45

at least if I understand the italian live ticker correctly

Farrar and Langeveld may also have been catched by the peloton (and Navardauskas may be alone) which would sound more realistic. I don't really know.
