Didn't a certain poser say Mollema was a better climber than Nibali?

Nibali really is much better than people give him credit for, especially since 2012.

ZzzzzzzZzzzZzz Such an unneeded troll post. airstream just posting an enthusiastic post about a great race.

Let's keep the airstream/Schleck bashing to the Andy Schleck thread.

You mad, bro? :D

Chris Horner beat the Froombot today. Awesome.

Superb racing from Nibali. Just superb. Don't think a single Sky rider has anywhere near the class or the cajones to do something like that. Other than EBH.

Nice work by Evans to pull that all back????

But most likely a chance to show some strength after a poor week.

lol Acquarone already said never again, what a champion of cycling.
Acquarone counts absolutely nothing when it comes to stage design. No worries.

Of course he is. But he's not a better puncheur or classics rider.

Hushovd came in ahead of Froome and 4 seconds behind Contador, I think that says everything about how this stage was more of a classic than anything else ;)

Loved it.

This is why descending is a key component of cycling, despite being constantly snubbed these days.

True.
But what many people seem to miss here is that Nibbles actually attacked on the final part of the wall. He was second behind Intxausti on top and then extended his lead on the descent.

It's not always about balls. He was the strongest. Period.

What kind of gaps will we see in the TT? Is the GC done and dusted in regards to the winner? Obviously the podium spots are up for grabs

Michele Acquarone ‏@micacquarone
@VeloVoices @velocast You are nice, but if you lose half your peloton, you just have to be honest and learn from mistakes. #Tirreno

So the very stage of Tirreno I can't watch live turns out to be the stage of the year. All is regular in the universe.

I know ill get flamed for this but it was only a great last 15km. up until then it was the usual peloton chasing break. Its because we are used to seeing stages with excitement only last 3 k that people say it was epic.

My post meant to say Nibali instead of Sagan in the first sentence by the way.

And I'm not even a fan of him, although I never mind if he wins a race(unlike the Sky bots)

Are you serious? Acquarone is a nice guy, but damned if I can understand how, in a country with Italy's rich cycling history, they let a guy like that have so much power over the racing.

An Italian wins today, and that is a problem? What happened to the old days of pulling tricks with the helicopters to help Italians win the Giro? :p :D

Yes, but he show some age in caution on a descent that was the winning move. He won't get that chance again. One to many crashes. The last almost killed him. I you implying the other then take down stairs.

Profile the years raced by Sean Kelly as to Horner. Not much of a difference.

jeez its hard to praise riders nowadays lol

The gc is done.

Nibali while not the tt great some make him out to be is quite good at times, especially over this length. wasnt far from Canc in the tdf prologue last year i recall.

No way in the blue hell is he losing 30 seconds. Even if he has a mechanical.
