it would be very wrong to not let him start.

Hushovd came in ahead of Froome and 4 seconds behind Contador, I think that says everything about how this stage was more of a classic than anything else![]()

and i am not talking about those days where he wheel sucks every until 1/2 km's from the top and then makes an anaerobic effort to the line, i am talking about those days where he attacks from far out drops every1 or almost every1 and keeps pushing ahead gaining time.
i can only think of one, sestrieres on the 2011 giro and even then contador had to reason to chase and he was minutes down on scarponi who pretty much had just secured his podium place with nibali struggling so people were not too worried about letting him go
it's an absolute disgrace!!!Parrulo said:i call for a twitter protest to let phinney ride tomorrow!!!!! for those that have twitter ofc, which is not my case
any 90kg rider that pushes himself over this course finishing minutes down on the last group while dozens of riders simply climbed into the car deserves to finish the race.
Kreuziger had a second mechanical, probably you don't know. What a shame, for him and for Alberto tooRyo Hazuki said:he was already back a long time after his flat tire in the peloton.

Pentacycle said:Sestrieres was just a last attempt to gain some time, although it's the only stage I've missed from that Giro. So I could be wrong.
Other examples I can think of are Dauphine 2011, Bola del Mundo last year(ty Airstream) and Pena Cabarga in the 2010 Vuelta.
Parrulo said:neither peña cabarga nor bola del mundo were efforts longer then 2 km's.
i did forget about the dauphine, which is my favourite purito performance on the mountains he was great that day with a fast but controlled attack and a dosed effort until the end.
