Today I ...

... attended the funeral of a 14 year old boy who had died of cancer. A member of my son's football (soccer) team from 18 months back. Tough tough morning for a lot of us.

Unfortunately when they played "When I see you again" by Wiz it all fell to bits for everyone. A great turn out and send off for a lovely boy - life can be cruel.

Today I lost one of my favorite clients, she was 95 years old. She was hospice, she wanted to die, she had led a full life and wanted to join her husband who had passed some ten years ago.

I'll miss her sense of humor, how sharp she was even at her age (she was on the computer emailing and looking up stuff all the time), and how she wished I would fake an accident on the trail so I would meet a proper bicycle rider boyfriend.

RIP, GS, hope you and your husband are reunited.

PS - I will keep you posted on the Young and the Restless, somehow.
