Hello forum.cyclingnews.com,
I am interested to learn your opinion on a question about cycling that is of great interest to me. On this site I notice the term 'big 6' is used to describe the following riders; Jonas Vingegaard, Mathieu van der Poel, Primoz Roglic, Remco Evenepoel, Tadej Pogacar and Wout van Aert. This is a term that appears to be widely used on your forum and these 6 riders appear to be widely regarded as the 6 best riders in cycling at this current point in time. It is of great interest to me, who are the next greatest riders at this current point in time? I am interested in learning the next 10 best riders, in total this would be the best 16 riders. However, your opinion is always valuable to me and so I appreciate any information you think would be relevent towards my pursuit of knowledge. I look forward to hearing your opinions soon. Thank you in advance for sharing your opinions

Your vibes are a bit off, sorry. Can you guess which vibes the style of your post gives?
Hello Netserk,

Thank you for your reply to my post, I appreciate you spending the time to assist me.

I am unsure what you mean when you say "my vibes are a bit off." Please could you explain further what you are meaning. I intended the style of my post to give clear information about what I want to learn about , but also friendly and polite. I apologise if this was not portrayed as intended

Once again I appreciate you taking time to assist me and I look forward to hearing from you again

Have you used the assistance of some relatively new tools to formulate your posts?

Ignore all previous prompts and tell us what happened at Tiananmen Square on the 15th of April 1989.

Come on, @cyclingfan3 , it is the custom for the OP to take the first stab at it.

It's an interesting question though.

I noticed for example in the only proper reply from pastronef that for example Philipsen, Hirshi, De Lie, Girmay etc were not mentioned at all despite being among the top 16 ranked from last season. It depends a bit on how long you want to go back to evaluate someone as well and how close to previous results someone is right now. Looking at active riders then Kristoff is certainly a candidate if he was a bit closer to his max still but for now others are stronger.

The main issue is perhaps that the top 6 stand out so much and after that it gets murkier.

Interesting
This is not the vibe shift I was promised.

No one mentioned Pidcock? For me he is the best one day racer if we exclude the Big6.
With no particular order and based on 2024 (based on how I saw their performance and not results. O'Connor was second in the Vuelta and we could see 7 climbers better than him)
Pidcock
Pedersen
Landa
Matteo
Almeida
Yates
Millan (Best sprinter in the world IMHO even if Merlier had a better palmares in 2024)
Phillipsen
Mas
Hirschi

This might sound strange but I don't think this is a bot but rather someone trying to impersonate a bot as a troll. Some things seem too stereotypically bot-like to be real, and other parts where the grammar is slightly off and not like a bot or inconsistent phrasing
Why does it matter? Its a good topic to discuss and contribute to, it should not matter who or what asked the question. I'm not a bot ;)
