Cannot believe the number of people here that don't put Evans in as part of their top 10. That would be my BANKER (for top 10 status). Better than Froome, Contador, Quintana (hype me to the moon and let me play among the stars), Pinot, et al.

Not saying Cuddles is going to win, but he's going to be there or there abouts.

He has the Giro in his legs. Think about it, for every rider who rode a good Giro and a good tour in the same year, there are 20 that coudnt hack it.
Where are the Italians come July.

In what universe is Bala Verde going to win the tour?

In the same where Contador can win. Valverde's usually very smart in a GT, and he can back up a long range attack with a strong teammate in the breakaway ahead.(Costa, Quintana)

Valverde's really hungry this time; don't expect him to keep wheelsucking if he can't get a stage or GC podium that way. He'll probably attack anyways.

Quintana is hyped in an irreal way. Andy Schleck had far lesser predictions prior the 2008 Tour.

You do know that Andy didn't even top-10 in 2008, right?

he had that hunger knock, without that easy top 5, prob even top 3'd it. I know 'if' but still he was way more worthy in that tour than what that result says.

What would a prediction be without a few upsets?
Is there a thread on surprise top 10 finishers?

As is commonly said recently, "It is what it is". His final position was a result of his inexperience. He certainly wasn't isolated and without domestiques or management so it was directly his own fault. He simply didn't fuel up enough on the pivotal stage of that year's Tour.
