El Pistolero said:Boonen has got to be the only cyclist in the world whose career is finished when he finished second in Milan- San Remo, second in the Ronde van Vlaanderen, fifth in Paris-Roubaix(he could've won if he didn't miss the attack or at least got second), etc
Sheesh...
Angliru said:Exactly. It's a bit premature to say Boonen has peaked and is now in "decline".
He potentially could have 2 more RVV's on his palmares if not for Devolder consecutive wins, which we all know were a direct result of Boonen past dominance. It's amazing how fast people toss a rider aside when they have an off season. Also taking into consideration that Cancellara is supposedly focusing on winning LBL this really opens the door for Boonen to reclaim his crown as king of the cobbled classics.
I think Lefevre needs a refresher Dale Carnegie course. His people and pr skills are in need of some seriouos help.

Czech billionaire Zdenek Bakala (Forbes 2009/ 1.2B) has bought a majority stake in the QuickStep cycling team, or rather the company that manages the team, Esperanza.
Well Tommeke your new landlord also a womanizer ?
Looks to me a GEOX spin-off type, we are going to have a lot of fun with these non cycling types.![]()
Jancouver said:No, he is not a womanizer. He is married to ex Czech Miss (yellow dress) and they have 3 kids. They live in Switzerland.
El Pistolero said:Being married or being in a relation didn't stop Boonen of being a womanizer lol.

What I'm wondering is if Stybar decides to join Quick Step than who would be his team mates in the cyclo cross? Sure, a team is less important in cyclocross than in road cycling, but they can help.
Jancouver said:They said he will join QS in March and he will ride the spring classics. IMO he is done with cyclocross.
