Stage 7

Maybe not such a simple stage as expected. Rain and crosswinds forecast. Could we see echelons and splits in the peloton?

actually could be quite an interesting stage with the intermediate sprint so close to the finish. expect a really fast final kilometres as they have to build up for two sprints.

I won't be sitting up for tonights stage, but it's fair enough that they are having a pure sprinters stage after quite a tough first week.

What I am next most looking forward to though (apart from Super-Besse tomorrow night - where hopefully Klodi will take yellow!) is The Hitch creating the thread for stage 12. C'mon man, I know this is not THE GIRO, but give the fans what they want!

In my opinion the break should be given more chances.
There are too many surprises, presents this tour.

Sorry for the early thread, but im excited about this hilly stage. We will get to see the contenders battle it out for the first time. the last hill is a hard one. Who will do better the puncheurs or the climbers? Will contador attack again? Will andy schleck do better? Will evans win or get yellow? or will the unbeatable superman gilbert win again!

Expect to see these 3 riders battling it out!

yes they should, but they will have no chance today. HTC and garmin will be ruthless. I will let libertine explain more about HTC to you:D

Checked the profile and the sprint point is so near to the finish, I guess that the break will be given about 3min lead max and will be pulled back about 40km from the finish so Cav could get another 20 points for his Green challenge.
