Have the situation been when two drivers came in at the same time?
Have you ever had such a situation when two drivers came in at the same time?

Rolf Sørensen has, as usual, been riding the final 30-35 kilometers of the stage. According to him, the roads are wide open and with a strong crosswind. Here's hoping he's right.

Will there be splits though, even with crosswinds everybody is gonna be really wary.. The big names won't get caught out I don't think

I'm not going to complain about this pancake flat stage. This is the 7th stage and we've only had 1 pancake flat stage so far so we really can't complain about this. Normally we would've had about 5 so far.

Besides that we need all kind of stages in a GT and flat stages are part of that. This first week certainly didn't dissapoint me. Ofcourse most of the action happened at the end of the stage, but the same happens in a mountain stage. It were all interesting finishes with a lot of diversity.
The TdF certainly isn't dissapointing so far.

Today should be Cavs. Normally he starts to dominate after his first win. Only a disrupted HTC train can spoil his party, but that will be very hard today.

Exactly. People whinged about the stages last year (and there were a lot of very flat finishes) and now when the organisers throw something up to make it a bit of a challenge they start complaining. Its all an anti-HTC conspiracy though!

Ventoso is actually faster than Rojas, in my opinion, but of course he'll be working for him because of the green jersey thing, so I guess his (*) rating is fair.

Yeah, this. Mind you haven't exactly seen the 2 go head to head. Ventoso did do a nice lead out at the intermediate yesterday, only Renshaw, Cavendish, Rojas was able to follow

---

Finish line is a 1.5km straight so its going to be the closest thing to a "drag" in cycling. Should be good!

last 25 or last 35 k cross winds??

man, can't wait!

Basically from the sprint points it turns left which is @ 25.5km to go. If a team is organised after the sprint point they could put the hammer down and gap the field.
