Entertaining TT, despite the awful coverage. Froome, Quintana and Bardet I think should all be pleased with their times. Porte, Contador and Aru perhaps slightly disappointed. Although none of them were really poor.

Shame about Valverde, unusual for him to misjudge a corner so badly, but you shouldnt really be taking risks like that on such a course.

feel sorry for Valverde. He is in his peak of his career this season, now he is in the lowest of low. That's a long way to go down.. I hope nothing brooken..

It wasn't even that Froome was that good. He was on his level, not anything special.

The rest was just really bad.
I mean cmon, Gesink was faster than Porte, Quintana and Contador... they simply did very very poorly
