I think we are seeing the downside of Froome taking yellow so early and having to ride hard in the Jura. All except Landa and Kwiat are exhausted. Froome not looking great either.
Well Kiryienka is coming back to the MJ-group and Nieve is still with Froome, so don't think the entire team is "exhausted".

Stage is moving so quickly...hard to say who's done and who's just measuring their effort. But Kiryenka was off back at that point...

I think Contador wants the stage, I don't think he cares about top 10 at all. This is win-win for Landa.

Crowds on the roadside seem to be well down.

Think I heard earlier that crowds have not been allowed at the top of the last climb after tackgate the last time they went up there.

Kinda weird seeing Quintana on the attack outside of the final climb...

He is riding for stages now, so that is why Movistar is not so conservative

Wrong. He's riding for the GC still - he's only 4:01 behind (about 2:50 on virtual GC)
He's not riding conservative because he has to make up a lot of time.

Both Contador and Quintana look different riders from the past days.
I hope they'll keep the level from now on.
Don't forget what's to come.

Don't get excited until they survive the final climb action

But today has been really exciting, kudos to them... A temporary alliance will be good for both, at least for the stage.

I'm wondering if Contador and Landa get to the finish alone, can they both lose the sprint?

Yes, Kwiatko to lose Quintana on the descent and bridge to Contador/Landa.

Both enjoy these types of stages. They will be beck to normal after today.

I have a vast range of things I would like to say about UAE now, but this is a family friendly forum or something like that...

Quintana back in the game will be fun on Galibier and Izoard.

Who's going to chase them down?
