AG2R rider needs to try and stay with Quintana group up the road, Bardet might need him to pull after the last climb if he attacks.

I think we are seeing the downside of Froome taking yellow so early and having to ride hard in the Jura. All except Landa and Kwiat are exhausted. Froome not looking great either.

Does Kwiato do what Kwiato does knowing it could bring Quintana to the front or does he just sit on and work to keep the gaps split?

If this is his final tour as it has been speculated, at least he is going out on his own terms rather than trying to ride defensively to get a meaningless top 10 finish. I don't think that Contador cares if he explodes as long as he tries to liven up the race.
