As a Norwegian, some small hope for Edvald Boasson Hagen today. Probably not though.

Well his form is definitely there. He's been pretty impressive in a couple of sprints this tour. Not sure how he'll measure up against GVA or Matthews on a finish like this though. I'd love to see him get a win, he's often very close but there's always at least one guy slightly better than him.

Has Matthews ever won an uphill sprint? Except for the four-man sprint against Evans, Wellens and Rabottini back in the 2014 Giro?

Can't see anyone beating GVA here

Will it be Gilbert or Stybar at the finish for QST ? Gilbert riding aggressively yesterday makes me guess it will be Stybar

Finish is too steep for Eddy. He will go stiff, just like last time. Rather see he tries a late attack - old style Eddy. ;)

GVA, Matthews or Gilbert going to win this.

Last Tour de Suisse to Bern? Although last 300 meters were flat.

Wasn't it more like the last kilometer? My point is, however, that he hasn't really won any puncheur finishes in his career. He is my favourite for today, nonetheless, even though it is really even between him and GvA.

I remember Pozzovivo went within the last km so I guess not :D

But I agree, I think Matthews never won a proper uphill sprint a 9% average with finish line at the top. Therefore GvA has to be the sure favourite.

Yes, but Matthews has been very impressive so far in the Tour. If GvA can do the same as two years ago by opening instantly on the climb, he will probably take it. If he waits just a little, Matthews is my pick (his sprint in Longwy was highly impressive - GvA's wasn't).

Well, he won this stage in la Vuelta in 2014:

I would definitely call that an uphill sprint.

Oh Danny Boy, the pipes, the pipes are calling, from Mur to Mur and up the mountain side!
