So it was Rick Zabel that done the deed.

that's worse than Sagan and Cav last year....Zabel should be getting sent home
For what??
Fighting for position in a narrow road?

Are you shitting me. He was just trying to keep his balance when Froome tried to get past.
Froome's fault for going places he shouldn't be.
I know, how dare he try and go into a gap thats there
Cav was on Démare's wheel, i.e. if the bigger Démare can get through, the smaller Cav can also get through!

Sagan was way worse! Froome tried to pass a rider on the outside of a compact peleton(i.e. little space on both sides, Zabel couldn't have done anything differently);

Cav was on Démare's wheel, Sagan came in from the left trying to get on Démare's wheel and thereby forcing Cav into the barrier.

its close to an assault on a living legend...Katusha rider needs to go home for that

Stillframes of such incidents often look bad, but I honestly see nothing to complain about in the video. There's no way there was any intent here (or even negligence), no way.

Froome has got to *** learn to look where he's going. That stuff always happens in the first week of the Tour.

Movistar have made a massive mistake appointing Landa and Valverde as equal leaders with Quintana.
BMC are idiots for not having riders with Porte. Tejay Van Garderen hasn't shown any Grand Tour podium ability for a few years now - he is in decline. Plus its a Grand Tour why would you waste your time protecting classics riders (GVA)?
Anyhow what happened happened, deal with it and move on I guess.

Or been very wise, we'll see in a couple of weeks...

Fuglsang, Majka and Nibali in just after 8 sprinters...... guess Majka is doing GC after all ;)

Btw, people should stop hating on Zabel.... watch the video footage.... he is getting bumped by a rider inside, and has to adjust for balance.... it’s not a deliberate act against Froome.

Also, now that people keep mentioning it.... Sagan should not have been booted last year.... He also just adjusted to not crash, after getting hit himself.... again, not a deliberate act.

Calm down brits ;)

Didn't they actually give Sagan an apology for that. Granted a few months after the fact, but still.

Bouhanni was hit by Greipel, Sagan had no trouble avoiding Bouhanni(or was barely aware, as he noticed Démare passing at the same time), Bouhanni was more a hindrance to Démare than Sagan. Forcing Cav into the barrier was a result of Sagan wanting to get on the passing Démare's wheel(where Cav was already positioned), not avoiding Bouhanni.
