I thought Sagan had blown up but no, Cosnefroy's yoyoing all over the place. Should Pöstleberger be back supporting Sagan? If Sagan's close enough to the front part way up the Col d'Eze he'll be very hard to beat whether the peloton catches them or not.

As a dane, I have had a feeling since yesterday that a dane will win the stage today. ;) Are we thinking Asgren has a legit shot at winning if the breakaway stays in front?

If he doesn’t crack in the last 800 metres we might just see a daredevil descent from Sagan to try to regain contact with the front of the race

I was thinking the same thing.
I was going to say Pöstleberger got absolutely mugged by Simon Yates last time he was in this position but no that was Mühlberger. Wrong Austrian. Anyway the break will have to ride a lot harder if they want to stay away now.

Keeping the Austrian "bergers" apart. That's like trying to keep the German "manns" apart... Does Bora have some weird love of riders with suspiciously similar names? At least they didn't get Zimmermann...

It is a pitty that they did not raced today, I expected more after yesterday. Very nice mountain stage wasted. Probably noone of GC riders believe in himself
