I wonder if Cavagna is going to be competitive for the stage, his time is looking better by each minute.

I wish they had a stationary (crane mounted) cam part way up the climb so that we’d have a point of reference for how riders look in comparison to one another. Like the fixed camera view on the climbs of FIS cross-country races. I know they have a fixed cam at the top but that’s a view of how exhausted they are at the end.
