His form is fine - remember Tour de Suisse - but as much as I would love to see it, I can’t see him keeping up on all of the mountain stages.

Île-de-Bréhat is a pretty little island. There's a campsite in Ploubazlanec, from where you can walk down to the harbour and take the ferry to Brehat, with a great view overlooking the coast, ocean and island.

In terms of pure wattage Declerq would be way ahead of course. It takes a particular kind of person to keep riding 12 hours a day for so long though, I doubt many other pros could match Morton there.

Morton needs to stop to eat and sleep and things: I doubt Declerq is limited by such requirements as apply to mere mortals.

I think that Colbrelli might be a bit underrated today. He wasn't there in the end yesterday, but he had a long chase to get back to the peloton and he was up there on some of the final climb. I don't think that he climbs that much worse than Matthews in his current form to justify odds 13 on Matthews and 41 on Colbrelli.
