Qhebeka must be kicking themself for not bringing Nizzolo.
Against this kind of field he could finish on the podium on a consistent basis and fight for the green jersey (and maybe even for a stage win, if everything goes right).

Nice to see a strong break on an early stage. I wonder why this doesn't happen more often. This has a very strong shot at winning. FDJ needs to close it down now.

I think the break might actually have a chance though, teams might be inclined to keep the powder keg dry for the next 3 stages

Alpecin might need to have a re-think here. Rickaert is strong but their chances of a win would be higher in a bunch sprint

Also Quickstep might be wishing they just let that 4 man break go

Ill be very mad at DSM if Søren Kragh doesnt pull, but im already very mad at that team. Surely Kragh has a better chance from here than Bol in a sprint.
