Ineos wants UAE still being forced to control the race and defend the yellow jersey as Robert Bengsch suggests.

Doesn't make any sense of course, because Pogacar is leagues above Carapaz anyway.

It kind of does make sense, but the problem is UAE will just be happy to let breaks go in pretty much every transitional stage from here on in, so it won't make any difference if Ag2r are pulling to control the maillot jaune anyway.
