Your care for the race is determined by one rider?

You have a point. I will change that to i don't even know yet if i do anticipate the 2023 edition or not. Hence i guess best to first get the anticipation part get cleared. As maybe i will be anticipating some other GT next year. Who knows.

I guess I'm not actively anticipating it - yet. Too many other races before that to anticipate.

Considering you are a Dane. Then you are doing it wrong. You must now anticipate.

I am anticipating!
Now I'm anticipating San Sebastian. And in the meantime I'll be watching Tour de France Femmes (and Wallonie, when that becomes possible.)
Then I'll anticipate this race, and that race, and the Vuelta, and some more races, and Worlds and Lombardia, and a few more races, and the Spring Classics, and early stages races, and the Giro, and some more racing, and - finally - the Tour!
