I agree Zimmermann probably needs the attack, though without it and another gear it could have been closer I guess. But he really should not have telegraphed his attack. There was no element of surprise to it.

Zimmermann was unlucky when Chavez dropped off after O'Connor's attack and he had to reduce the gap
