First Spanish stage win at the Tour in 5 years.
Jesus didn't realise it was that long. Great stage and great win for Bilbao.

It's telling that a group as talented as Alaphilippe, Skjelmose, Kwiatkowski, and Barguil were so far off the pace. The Alaphilippe of 2017-2021 would probably have one a stage or two at this point. On current form, Thursday's stage is the only real chance I see left for him and, by extension, Quickstep as a whole.

Another stage where Soudal got most things wrong.

Their 2 best riders hit the break - so far so good - then they burn up one of them in support of the other, who then can't hack it
You are so freaking annoying man. Asgreen had absolutely no chance today, please just do get that in your head and how about you delete your sockpuppet acc while youre at it? Alaf tried his best, wasn't enough, but Asgreen was completely done. That was obvious to literally everyone watching.

For me Ineos feels a bit on the loosing side today. they couldn't get anythin out of the chaos at the start and felt on the backfoot the whole time.

Bardet and gaudu got saved today by their irrelevancy. No team needed to keep them behind and no team needed to test them again. on the last climb. So if they recover well until the weekend or make a good break maybe Ineos and Jayco look back at that moment adn wished they buried them here.

The Tour is really great this year. I'm looking forward to Thursdays stage as there could be a great breakaway battle again and this time there will be probably also no wait with three pretty hard back-toback-to-back climbs in the last 65 km (that's of course if the race is really on like today)
