Kinda an anticlimatic finish to the stage buildup. When Vinge caught Pog both mutants slowed down considerably and let Rodriguez bridge the gap and win the stage at the end. JV couldn't break Pogacar today and Vinge surprisingly didn't attack and finish off their work. Pog did but they are evenly matched. The Slovenian must be angry cause he missed on another stage win opportunity.

Rob Hatch w*nking over Vingeaard's bonus seconds 'victory' today... after Eurosport spent all day criticising UAE for yesterday's Grand-Colombier 8 seconds gain.

In other news, those motos were a disgrace. It's not possible to have so many motorbikes impede the race like that.

Its mad how depending on what rider you support both sides claim the other messed up. Jumbo clearly had designs on winning the stage given how they used up their doms one by one all day in the expectation that Vingegaard would make an attack on Joux PLane that never came. Then when the complexion of the race changed on the final climb and Yates dropped Kuss, the expectation was that Pog would make an attack which did come but wasn't enough to drop Vingegaard. What happened to just simply calling it a stalemate of sorts, there is clearly nothing between these 2 riders in this Tour.

Honestly, motos not great but at some point the sheer number of people are just out of hand. That should have been fenced off just like a finish; imho part of this is on the organizers. They knew this would be a total freak show today. Imagine the contrast between utter fools running up the hill with their pants down, and the greatest bike racers on the planet. Zero IQ, zero shame.

Pogi slowed down too much for my taste in that descend. Good stage. Good victory for Carlos and He just got closer to the podium.
