I was looking at the summary of teams in the break and teams that missed the break. Most strong guys have a teammate in the group, the group can be functional for a while.
Tobias Johannessen is there I thinkPretty funny that, after all their complaints about there not being enough opportunities for the break, Uno-X have managed to miss a 35-rider group on the most obvious breakaway day of all.
Johannesen is there even If he isnt listed on PCS.Pretty funny that, after all their complaints about there not being enough opportunities for the break, Uno-X have managed to miss a 35-rider group on the most obvious breakaway day of all.
PCS must have read your postTobias Johannessen is there I think
MvdP tried once at the beginning of the stage, but it's rather arrogant of him to think he can win a stage here with so little effort. It would really be best for him to skip the GTs if he's not giving it his all. It only tarnishes his reputation, but I guess the sponsor demands participation.I was looking at the summary of teams in the break and teams that missed the break.
And now I think Astana, Uno X and Alpecin can't be bothered or arent strong enough to bring it all back
Two years in a row where he's using the Tour to race into form for a major midsummer one-day race (Olympics, super worlds in '23). If he targets the Tour in his preparation, and with the right parcours he can still make things interesting (2021, for example). But given his profile as a rider, he should never make the Tour the top priority of his season.no vdp stage win this tour now certain. That's 4 TDF's 1 stage win. Poor return. He'll never be a fitting GT rider
There's no better poisson pilote in the world today than MVDP. Alpecin will want him in the Tour every year for their sprinter. Two years in a row where he's using the Tour to race into form for a major midsummer one-day race (Olympics, super worlds in '23). Well, the possibility was there, but nobody on the top ten wanted try something from far.
It is always possible that souldal put a good pace for the last climb and Remco try, but I thinks is not likely.
I agree. It was more of a Kelly green than a Forest green. Sagan green works too.I have said it 100 times, and will say it again....
I miss the old shade of green for the points.
I think the shade is called "Sagan green"
This is the most intense battle for 4th in the KoM I have ever seen
