Visma, Ineos & Quick-Step all worked to keep the gap versus Rog. UAE didn't.
I respect that.
Ineos and QS commited a rider way too late, Visma was also not full out rotation pacing. UAE had Ayuso behind and Pogacar simply isn't worried enough about Roglic, if Vingegaard is behind he puts the hammer down, Ayuso being there or not.Visma, Ineos & Quick-Step all worked to keep the gap versus Rog. I think that's very very premature. SQS should be very worried about roglic. The terrain so far has mostly been to Remco's advantage, and he is often great in week 1. Come the multi mountain days in week 3 you would like as much time on roglic as you can get.The podium belongs to UAE, Visma, and Soudal.
INEOS should be riding for 4th and doing away with Roglic
I'm no expert, but I thought the object of the race was to beat your opponents.Visma, Ineos & Quick-Step all worked to keep the gap versus Rog. UAE didn't.

Dude, missed the split fair and square. Stop pretending Roglic was hit by bad luck....Visma, Ineos & Quick-Step all worked to keep the gap versus Rog. UAE didn't.

Vinge doesn't know for sure if he is riding for first or podium yet given his crash. So I think that does make sense.Pog isn't worried about Rog... but apparently Vinge is. Okay.
The truth is Andrej Hauptman in the UAE car didn't take advantage of the situation.
I thought Lenny was a late addition and not really prepared? Otherwise I might count gregoire as curiously absent so farHave to say FDJ overpromised and underdelivers a lot. Gaudu, Martinez, Gregoire - all highly regarded. And in the end Madouas is the strongest. Weird.
He worked hard to bridge the gap. Probably burned outAranburu dropped, would have ragarded him stronger
