Vingegaard could have been out completely, injuries unknown or could pull off and get in the car, go for pizza with Remco and Ganna, Philipsen, nothing is for sure..Visma needs to stop, absolutely abandoned the stupidity of thinking Vingegaard's podium is a forgone conclusion.. Visma is racing like they are drunk for @14 days!! Do the basics before the extras not after.. Visma need to stop chewing gum and walking, stick to just walking.. Baby steps for getting Jonas back to the bunch.. The director giving Wout, Jorgensen, Yates, Ving independent plans is insane.. Even clowns in the circus have limits on how many balls you can juggle at once.. The director should have got a yellow card daily for deranged tactics.. In Visma misses the podium you can't blame the riders..Don't let Diddy plan the party..

Also commentators acting like its a problem that we have several types of rider type contesting green is just a clown show. Its a damn point competition, not a flat sprint competition- Milan, MVDP, Grimay and Pog is perfect and thats how it should be - pure sprinter, durable sprinter, puncheur and all-round

It's not just them!! Universal wonder about why riders can do more than one thing.. Many podcasts are angry that sprinters don't just sprint, classics guy don't stay to just classics, why are climbers not busy climbing and winning TTs instead.. And Pogacar targeting everything has commentary world with multiple exploded heads!!

But your point is more, much more important.. If Vingegaard was held up..entire Visma team, pull your heads out, turn around if necessary, double back, pick him up and pull him back.. Just basic winning bike racing.. Visma the team that reinvents the wheel daily, sometimes multiple times per day!!

The terrain made it pretty much certain the peloton would regroup. But if they miss the break at that point, it can be curtains for the stage.

I understand their choice. There's also the fact Vinge has a habit of panicking so he can make something look more desperate and stressful than it was.
