I've decided to be wildly optimistic about this Tour, so I voted Vingegaard. In all honesty, I don't care who wins out of him and Pog, but I want an exciting GC battle like the first two weeks of the 2023 Tour. So I'm huffing that copium hard.

Roglic/ Evenepoel would be even better in the excitement stakes, but is highly unlikely.

A CRod victory would be the dream, but is impossible.

1st Pogacar with 4-6 stages, green, and KoM
2nd 2-3 mins back Vingegaard with 1-2 stages and he and the team looking like they could win overall on those stages
3rd 6-10 mins back Evenepoel with 1 stage
4th 9-15 mins back Almeida with 1 gifted stage win from Pogacar
5th 10-16 mins back Jorgenson
6th Lipowitz 15-20 mins back

Roglic DNF but gets a stage win.

Rog DNF'ing is like the biggest predictor cliché in pre-Tour conversations online right now. Everyone everywhere is saying "Rog will DNF"

But at least you gave him a stage win, so I guess that makes your prediction slightly better. And nicer than average. So you deserve a croissant.

How are those GC contenders going to get stage wins over Pog? He won't allow it.

* * * * * - Pogacar (wins 4-6 stages)
* * * * - Vingegaard

* * * - Evenepoel, Rogla,
* * - Almeida
* - Lipowitz, Jorgenson, A. Yates, Martinez, Rodríguez

I tip Pogacar to win GC by about 4 minutes with 6 stage wins - a repeat of 2024.

Best Vingegaard will do is to follow Pogi to the line in big MTFs whilst losing time on others. But Vingo should be closer in the TTs or might even pull back some time. MTT will be very interesting.

I'll tip Remco to repeat his podium finish of last year.

Most difficult prediction is Roglic. I am hopeful he can show his best again and would be the biggest threat to Remco's podium.

Vingegaard and Visma will look like the better rider and team on the one or two stages that he wins so will win outright, like I said.

Evenepoel the TT.

Almeida is the biggest not going to happen and only if he can stay with Pogacar and no one else can’t.

Roglic I think can win stage 6 or 7. Could even see a scenario on stage 10 of Vingegaard and Evenepoel being dropped and Pogacar letting Roglic win.

Pogi and Vingegaard will take each other out like Piastri and Norris. That allows Roglic a never expected Tour victory, But only because of team orders that kept Lipowitz out of contention. German media in fits, which can't be pacified by the surprise Podium of Emu Buchmann. Unnoticed second: Remco.

The rants will go up all over the internet how Rog didn't beat the big 2 before he shows up in Spain, tells the 2 "this is my *** playa", butchers them like a chorizo and then says "hasta la vista baby" before riding off into the sunset in a red shirt.
