On past tours for the rest days they'd have a picture of the current maillot jaune sitting outside for breakfast reading l'equipe, not seen it this year and wondered if they'd stopped?

I'm guessing Froome doesn't read French and hence such a setup would look a little too "fake".

Froome does speak French, so I would suppose he should be able to read (or pretend to read) an article in l'equipe.

Reminds me how much safer Froome would have been with Wiggins behind him as well!
