you forgot 1 contender for KOM, CAS from Saxo - Tinkoff, its a goal for the team, and I surely think he belongs there. ;)

Wiggins might not be the best climber in the peloton, but I'd still put him as contender anyway on the mountainous stages - especially considering some of the names you have mentioned.

I will be adding the 3 main Mountain stages tonight hopefully and i will put him as one of the contenders, yet the thing is that i see him doing what he did in the Vuelta and pulling the group and then any riders who are left will just come round him for the win.

The reason I havent put him for a contenders on the two I have done so far is because stage 7 is totally unsuited to his climbing abilities and stage 10 will most probably be won by an attack which I dont see Wiggins doing, and if not I do not believe he will go for sprints.

Just out of interest Foome19, what is your job? Jouranlist? PR?

It is very informative but it does not look like a forum post, but something that should be published on the main site. It would certainly be read more widely on the main site than in a forum thread and is better than any article about Tour by the so called professional journalist in the road news.

Great preview. How long did it take you to do this?
Too long ;), actually I did it over the course of the past 5 days or so whenever I have had free time

Should be sticikifed for convenience mods as long as Tour lasts ?
I agree, but there dont seem to be any mods on today.

Yeh I had edited him in my word document but I did not do so on the forum post. He will certainly be up there and I will try and go back some time and edit in a bit of a preview of him.

Tell that to the Cyclingnews journalists ;), actually it is quite a good idea in all seriousness

Thanks indeed it is not as smoothly written as I would have liked but I have had to sacrifice quality for quantity.

Indeed but a career in journalism is very possibly on the horizon...

Sadly for you, this thread is a good example of why journalism is a dying career.

Why pay for content when the internet means lots of people with more indepth knowledge than the 'professionals' are willing to invest their time for free.

Broadsheet newspapers are all loss making and cutting staff constantly - pretty awful profession to be joining if you're a 16 year old who doesn't want their industry to disappear before they're 30.

Cool preview.

@Froome19: Great posts- hints of cycle weekly/ Procycling in it is good.

I am younger than you are and i still think journalism will be around just in a different form ( more online/ specialisation ). Also you don't have to be a journo, bloggers are also big.

considering the level of cycling journalism at the moment, you'd generally be a good fit ;)

Whoah! Bravo on a fantastic job, Froome19. This pretty much makes watching the Tour a piece of cake. Thanks.

"Losing more than 20 or so seconds to the likes of Wiggins will be the aim for the likes of Van Den Broeck "

I could do that in a 500 metre race, with a 100 metre start. Just talented that way. :D

Stage 11 been updated so just Stage 16 and 17 to go..

I really admire your effort/enthusiasm on this Froomey. I hope you can incorporate this little project into any special projects you may have or will have in your ongoing studies:)

A real labour of love eh;)

Nice job. Don't count out Evans on stages 1 or 3. Those are good finishes for him and he may like the idea of taking the jersey early and then letting it go. What's the time bonus situatioin this year?

Dont know think a mod just saw it as preview and thought to take it off as previews are for before...
