tomorrow it's 37 degree celcius here in limburg, they are even warning for 40 degrees

but rotterdam is almost in the sea, so luckily they'll have some fresh wind

If it's going to be anything like the shower I got here yesterday turns are not possible for anyone but Sven Nys. But that only lasted for 20 minutes. Could get some crazy results. Man, that would be awesome.

Good thing the Tour-Pool at work starts on monday for some reason :)

Teletekst tuned it down to 70%

Without an engine in the bike Fabian will not win.

Contador takes yellow.

Are you joking? Fabian will probably win like he used to, because I don't think it's possible to get that so called build in motor rumble without being noticed for all those years :p.

Contandor won't take yellow either, because I don't see a bumb in the road besides the extra zoomed in bridges or something like that :d.

He will likely win the prologue but that's hardly evidence he wouldn't have used a motor in the classics. Now if he rides 50K all out in front the peloton and wins a stage later in the race, then it's a different story.

Am I the only one who doesn't think Martin will be top5?

No. Martin always have solid results in prologue but hardly got wins, especially the prologue is very technical. Top 10 is easy for him.

But stage1 is 8km, a bit longer than these 4 km prologue. If he tries, top 5 is still reasonable for him. Considering Cav's bad form, maybe Columbia will be glad to let Martin have a try.

I like Cancellara to win like everyone but if it rains, i expect most tour contenders to take a back seat.

I expect Top 5 be filled out with Wiggins, Contador, Vino and Kloden. Kloden has had impressive Prologues the last couple of years. In 07, I remeber he had beaten everyone by a few seconds until Spartacus destroyed his time.

The posthumalaan will be quite skinny as riders will be going out and coming back in from that one road and it is not a wide road from the looks of things.

EDIT: I realised that some buildings split the sides of the road up a fair bit.

Weather forecast tells us it would start raining at 17h, this would be bad for last men, so the road could be drier and safer for first men (Boasson, Martin, Zabriskie, Wiggins...).... do you think this rain will alter results?

I don't know if this will affect his performance, but Hincapie's calf looks disgusting:

OK, lots of people are saying they don't want to pick Spartacus because he's the obvious choice, here's a variation of the game we can discuss.

If CN is accurate in their reporting, the final 3 riders on Saturday are: LA, FC and AC. Not only that, but they also give start times as only being 1 minute apart. At the final Tour de Suisse TT, LA was almost 1 minute behind Fabian over almost 27K, approximately 3 times longer than the Tour prologue. Now, I don't think Fabian can catch Lance in less than 10K giving a minute, but how close will he come?
