I just didnt want to go along with everyone else and say Cancellara....I hope Brookwater can finish top 5?:D

Fair enough. I did the same in my overall predictions:D. He was my "surprise" part of my tips. Anyway. I think he could do good with his giro prologue form.

the prologue with its flatness and long straight runs is the perfect course for watts over watts per kilo.

if 'watts per kilo' do very well in the race, they are making a huge statement about the podium in paris.

watts per kilo= jani brakovic, berto, ll, schlecks.

watts= all pure itters with canc being the absolute dominator.

It's too good a weather and far to warm for us to be sitting behind computers, unless you really have to :(

I'm at the Astana hotel 24/7 holding a sign that says: Vino, please impregnate my wife.

Couldn't pop round to the BMC hangout and substitute Cadel and dog, where appropriate?
Eurosport soon to go "Live in Rotterdam"..........

Are there time bonuses for winning normal non-TT stages this year unlike the last few years. In other words do the sprinters have an incentive to come close in the prologue to give them a chance of taking the yellow jersey by winning stage 1?

That is just a warm day over here. Ca you imagine what 48oC?
Temperatures in Holland tend to feel higher than what they actually are. Don't know about Australia (never been there) but in southern Europe or California I can stand 30 degrees much better than in Holland.

Yes, but those are Australians, they don't count ;p

80% of rain here saturday. Furious summer rains.

Let's hope Vino is the only one on a dry course :D

Not around here. In southern Europe, sure, no problem, but here, I'll just find a freezer if this happens.

ANyway, rain on saturday? I thought that it would happen tomorrow

If it's going to be anything like the shower I got here yesterday turns are not possible for anyone but Sven Nys. But that only lasted for 20 minutes. Could get some crazy results. Man, that would be awesome.

Good thing the Tour-Pool at work starts on monday for some reason :)
