I don't get the suprise, Nibali was already 6th in the first time trial. And with Cancellara, Martin and Syl. Chavanel gone that automatically moves him up to 3rd

But maybe I'm crazy?

Froome shows how slow the benchmarks are when Tony & Fabian aren't here.

He destroyed Fabian in the last TT too. Tejay had better checkpoint times than Fabian then, and nobody has been even remotely close to either Wiggins or Froome.

It's just weird that you have a whole bunch of guys within a few seconds at the first check, and Wiggins and Froome are beating them by half a minute.

Both Wiggo and Froome using the Julich coached elliptical chain ring. Julich has done a bang up job working with Froome on the TT.

whole bunch of guys who have never been top top tters.

TJVG, LLS, Gretsch, Nibali. These are not timetrialling gods getting beat.

lol a replay from ITT number 1 minus Canc, a worse Evans and no Martin.

But with LL Sanchez and Peter Velits slightly better and Nibali (at the moment, could still change) 1 place worse

Gods? No they're expert professional time trialists.

Wiggins and Froome are gods. Beyond belief.

Froome not allowed to ride.

Froome can be glad: He's incredibly skinny and his position is absolute crap... he is lucky that he can still live the dream.

he has recovered well from his injuries. Glad to see him do well in a ITT (again).

Those square chainrings might be fast, but they are are otherwise an abomination. The style-gods have never been kind to Bradley.

To be fair, nobody knows how good TJVG is or will be in the future. From what we've seen, he could end up being a great TTer, he's already one of the better in the peloton and he's only 23 years old.
