Sky is clearly putting down a moderate pace (losing time to Riblon), so having lost 4 men already is seriously bad news. I'm sort of hoping the GC greats end up isolated so the strongest climber not the strongest team will win.

They seemed to have picked up the pace looking at the way riders in the rear of the main group are struggling

BMC needs to go on the attack. They have Cadel Evans and TJVG -- so either should take one helper and go! Even though it is early, they need to try something. TJ goes first -- even if it is just a false attack.
