Germans invaded Holland in 1940 starting in Arnheim and The Hummel is invading ... starting in China and is doing the perfect thing for his sponsor.

Damned! The jury took my victory today! A flat tire, the mechanic struggled and I had to come back behind the car. And that was wrong, according to the jury.

Very nice to see young Iglinsky doing so well.

DAOTEC, do you know if Valentin kept the sprinter jersey, or if Kenny took it? Kenny has been wearing it in the race, but up until today's stage, Valentin held the leader, sprinter, and Asian jerseys all.

No, the picture doesn't tell us anything. After yesterday's stage, Iglinsky still held the leader jersey, along with the Asian rider jersey and the sprinter jersey. But because one man cannot wear three jerseys in the race, they have Valentin wear the leader's jersey to race. The person who is 2nd in sprinter points wears the sprinter jersey in the race (van Hummel). The same happens with Asian rider jersey.

They do this so that all the jerseys still get worn by somebody during the race, so the jerseys are in photographs or on camera for the companies that sponsor the sprinter jersey, mountains jersey, etc.

Yesterday I was thinking van Hummel should be close to taking over the sprinter jersey. But then when they disqualified his victory yesterday, he didn't earn points and Iglinsky kept the sprinter jersey. With today's victory, I am wondering if he finally earned enough points to take the sprinter jersey for himself.

Great pics DAOTEC throughout the thread...it does not hurt that Kenny is my favorite rider...what a great way to end the season. I know its a **** small race...but winning when you are supposed to is important.
