Was that someone about to cross the road with their weekend shopping?!
The old guy just left the liquor store!! No harm, no foul!!
race was great ,Trek was in complete control.
Breakaway worked smoothly together. EF didn't know how to chase put a guy on the front and second rider was 3,4 riders back behind Trek team and then had to switch to front from farther back, it was never going to work anyway but at least you can look like your trying!!
Mads was a monster and Mohoric rode solid strategy and when sprint came he finished with dignity. Bahrain had solid showing, team did their job..

Sunday's stage 3 should be a sprint finish - Rognac to Arles over 190.6 km, start 12.20 CET TV from 15.15 CET

Will surprise sprint rocket, Lukas Kubis hold onto 4th on GC?

Loved the finale on those roads and Mads' aggression. However I think EF knew what it would take to pull back the front two, but didn't care--and were just lining up for the UCI points, making sure the bigger chasing group didn't catch them. I think everyone on the planet could see Cepeda was never going to put a dent into two big rouleurs in front.

I would tend to agree with you!! Van den Berg got 5th but no other EF Education in top 25..so some points but got them with a few pounds of flesh!!

First time I'm attempting to watch two races at the same time... my de la Provence feed doesn't have any sound so I'm listening to the Almeira Spanish commentary instead while switching between races as they will finish very closely together. I speak neither French nor Spanish, it's a little wild.

8km to go and the scenery is glorious! (Better than Almeira at any rate.)
