The Lidl train is fully intact, only Bernard, Mollema and Declercq have pulled so far.
Pathetic to get totally swarmed like that and never making the front again. At least it meant that Pedersen wasn't near Ackermann's crash.

Bump in the road made Ackermann crash, did a salto and landed really hard on his back with an almost certain whiplash to the neck. Horrible images.

Kubic narrowly escaped, think it was Govekar among others that got caught in the crash.

Nasty crash for Ackermann. Looked like he hit a bump or manhole.
Like a little speed bump or something.. Slow motion shows him getting a bit airborne before beefing it into the pavement!! And the most overhead has him crashing on has his own then everyone slamming into each other!!

First time I'm attempting to watch two races at the same time... my de la Provence feed doesn't have any sound so I'm listening to the Almeira Spanish commentary instead while switching between races as they will finish very closely together. I speak neither French nor Spanish, it's a little wild.

8km to go and the scenery is glorious! (Better than Almeira at any rate.)
Excellent effort with the dual broadcasts!

It was a "platform speed bump", you go up, stay up for 3 metres or so, then you go down. Ackermann got caught on stage 3, the down section.

Remarkably Jose Been and Matt Stephens could not see it.
