Tomorrow is difficult indeed. Unless your name is Johnny. He will take it very
easy. The only question is; Will he gain enough time for overall? Hell yes :D

I don't think he will ride the vuelta he already did 2 GTs this year, and has something like 70-80 race days I think.

Probably be better ending his season soon, but we'll probably see him race the autumn races in italy.

@DT
impressive by poels.
Otherwise I think he could have won, he has a decent kick.

Poels said he attacked on the final climb and only reached the leaders with 500m to go.

So I guess he didn't exactly had time to recuperate for the sprint. Tomorrow a very difficult stage. And saturday queen stage

Taaramae apparently instigated the attack but go left behind Pinot shortly before the end of the climb, managed to get back up tho. Taaramae said that he got cramps because of his new bike for the Vuelta (said that he would've bagged Pinot without that :D)

E: Hoogerland apparently on the attack

No, just a random journalist who lives in that region is tweeting a bit.
E:Apparently Taaramae and Kangert (Both Estonians) teamed up and attacked :) with Dessel and some others..
E2:pinot not in it.
E3: Taaramae and Dessel 1.15 ahead of 2nd group and 2.30 ahead of the yellow jersey group (pretty much over for the Pinot fans out here.)
E4: Taaramae broke away of Dessel and is going for solo, Rolland attacked from the 2nd group and it's pretty much between them now!

Wout Poels wins Stage 3 of Tour de l'Ain, ahead of Pierre Rolland and David Moncoutié. Vacansoleil rider takes the overall lead too

-from inrng's twitter.

Looks like that was a good ride to take it from Rolland.

Rolland favourite for tomorrow? Can't wait to watch it. :D

Sounds like a great stage. Wonder what Taaramae was thinking with that attack? Pinot certainly blew. Well Poels is in pole positon and Rolland looks like the main competition and the last stage is the queen stage :)

tuft....

Interesting result for Tuft on a stage when I expected he would have been dropped...finished in the company of some solid climbers. If anyone doesn't know he is the offspring of a large bear and a larger moose...and looks the part.

I don't expect him to finish up there in the last stage, but if this form is any indication we should look out for him at TT worlds (the prologue was too short and explosive for him....).
