So far, Guardini hasn't really delivered against the big sprinters. That's ok, he's still young. They can't all be Kittels.

He's not started too badly though. Last year at various points he won races beating Farrar, Greipel and Petacchi. Not bad for a neo-pro. Not quite Kittel or Demare-like starts though I'll agree. He said himself that he only felt his legs coming back to him here in Langkawi, wasn't quite firing on all cylinders in San Luis or Qatar. Not sure we can write him off yet, first week of the Giro should be interesting.

Well, look who was slowly finding his form in the last stage. Second Astana rider (Vino obviously). Made a late attack.
